I guess all good things truly must come to an end. The Olympic Games in Beijing, China, have been awesome, but the closing ceremony is only a few days away.

These games have been packed with excitement. An American woman became the all-around gymnastics champ; Tyson Gay, favored to win the 100m, didn’t qualify for his race; and the “Redeem Team” is showing it’s basketball dominance. Undoubtedly, the most impressive showing at these Olympic Games has been from Michael Phelps. He seemed destined to win those eight gold medals. Talk about some heart-stopping moments! I’m just really pleased and proud that he did all he set out to do.

All in all, I’ve had a great time watching the Olympics. I can’t imagine what the closing ceremony could bring.
